HIP GUARANTEE

Pups bred and whelped at SILVER BOW LABRADORS carry a Hip Guarantee. This covers any genetic hip problem which would prevent this tattooed pup from being certified by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, (OFA).

It is impossible to state that any given dog will be completely free of a genetic imperfection. In our breeding program, we only breed to animals certified with an OFA rating of GOOD or EXCELLENT. We try very hard to research the background of the Sires and Dams, and any litters they may have produced. Only when we are satisfied that these animals are sound do we breed. We believe that by adhering to these high standards we are cutting down the odds of producing a defective pup or litter. Therefore we offer this guarantee providing the purchaser complies with this agreement.

OFA will only certify dogs that have reached the age of 24 months. For this guarantee to be honored, the dog must be x-rayed and certified within six (6) months of reaching 24 months. We must have the results of these findings within 30 months of the pups date of birth.

If a problem should arise before the dog reaches the age stated herein, you must have OFA evaluate the x-rays and send you a copy of their findings. 

When the following requirements have been met, this guarantee will be in effect and honored by SILVER BOW LABRADORS.

1. A copy of the OFA findings must be mailed to us within 30 months of the pups DOB.
2. THE DOG MUST NOT HAVE BEEN BRED.
3. A letter from your vet with the pups tattoo number on it certifying the dog has been spayed or neutered.
4. The tattoo must appear on all documents.
5. Silver Bow reserves the right to take the dog back in exchange for a full refund.

At this point, when we are satisfied that a problem does exist, the animal has not been bred, and has been spayed or neutered, we will either refund the purchase price of the pup, or give you another pup of like or similar breeding. If the price of the agreed replacement pup is higher, the purchaser will pay the difference. The expense of shipping the replacement pup will be assumed by the purchaser. Silver Bow is not responsible for any Vet fees, certification costs, or any expenses related to the animal below.

THIS GUARANTEE APPLIES ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF THIS DOG.
